Who we are
This website is operated by Brilliance RGB B.V., Hengelosestraat 581, 7521AG Enschede, The Netherlands. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. As a company based in the European Union, we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch implementing law.
Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to operate this site and respond to enquiries:
- Contact and demo-kit forms — the name, company, and email address you provide when you get in touch or request an evaluation kit.
- Usage data — pages visited, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through analytics cookies (see below).
- Technical logs — IP address and server log data generated automatically when you access the site, used for security and diagnostics.
Purpose & legal basis
Under the GDPR, each processing activity relies on a lawful basis:
- Responding to enquiries — our legitimate interest, and the steps necessary to enter into a business relationship at your request.
- Analytics and marketing cookies — your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
- Security and fraud prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its users safe.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure campaign performance. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent. The tools we use include:
- Google Tag Manager — manages the tags used on the site.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated, privacy-respecting usage measurement.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — measurement of professional-audience campaigns.
You can manage or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings, and you can block cookies in your browser.
reCAPTCHA
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA (invisible v3) to prevent spam and abuse. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information for the sole purpose of distinguishing humans from automated traffic.
Third parties
We share personal data only with processors that help us run the site and our business — hosting, analytics, email, and CRM providers — under data-processing agreements that restrict their use of the data to our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry and form data is retained for the duration of our correspondence and a reasonable follow-up period; analytics data is retained according to the configured analytics retention window.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
